Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using SynapseHR ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, you may not use the Service. SynapseHR is operated by SynapseHR Pty Ltd, an Australian company.
2. Description of Service
SynapseHR provides an applicant tracking system (ATS) that allows businesses to post job listings, manage candidates, schedule interviews, and track recruitment pipelines. The Service is offered on a subscription basis.
3. Account Registration
You must create an account to use SynapseHR. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorised use.
4. Subscriptions and Billing
Subscription fees are charged in advance on a monthly basis and are required at the time of signup. All prices are in Australian Dollars (AUD) and inclusive of GST where applicable. You may cancel your subscription at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No refunds are provided for partial months.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use SynapseHR for any unlawful purpose, to post discriminatory job listings, to upload malicious software, or to attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these conditions.
6. Data and Privacy
Candidate personal information collected through your job listings is owned by you. By using SynapseHR you grant us a limited licence to store and process that data solely to provide the Service. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your data.
7. Intellectual Property
The SynapseHR platform, including its design, code, trademarks, and documentation, is owned by SynapseHR Pty Ltd. You retain all rights to your job listings and candidate data.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Australian law, SynapseHR shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the three months prior to the claim.
9. Modifications
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you by email at least 14 days before material changes take effect. Continued use of the Service after that date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales.
